P-39 AIRACOBRA
SHORT KIT #SK705

The Airacobra flew in both the Pacific and Europeat theaters of WWII. It was somewhat of an ungainly airplane with its engine located behind the cockpit and the drive shaft running under the pilot's seat to the propeller.

 THE KIT

Here is a good ship for starters. It has a lot of wing and tail for control and as a short kit, it goes together quick and easy.

 TEST PILOT NOTES:

"I felt a real positive feel. The tricycle gear gives this P-39 excellent ground handling and takeoff control."
