The P-38 was the terror of the skies. It was fast, sleek and deadly with its power and range. In late 1942, six Lightnings flew 575 miles and destroyed Admiral Yamamoto's G4M transport along with his escort fighters. It will go down in history as the deadliest twin engine fighter of its day.

 

 THE KIT

The P-38 is quick and easy to build. It features plug-in outer panels for easy transport and field assembly. It is a real crowd pleaser and a contest winner.
